Prayer Requests
PMI works on the front lines and sometimes behind the lines in many different parts of the world. We always have something to pray about and appreciate having others join us!
PMI Prayer Request
January 12, 2010 - USA
Issued 3:30pm (PDT) from PMI Home Office - (USA)
Approximately 40 minutes ago at the issuance of this bulletin, the island country of Haiti was hit by a 7.3 earthquake and was followed by 2 strong aftershocks measuring 5.9 and 5.5 in magnitude. There are unconfirmed reports of wide spread destruction including a report of a hospital collapsing. Note: These are unconfirmed reports at this time. The US Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a notice of a possibility of a local tsunami that could affect “coasts located usually no more than 60 miles from the earthquake epicenter.” As most of you are aware, PMI’s Brad & Trish Ward family live on the coastline of Honduras which is located across the Caribbean Sea from Haiti. If the Warning Center is correct, they are in no danger. I did talk with Brad approximate 30 minutes after the earthquake occurred to check on their family, the hospital and to alert them to the news and possible tsunami warning. They did not feel the quake or know of it and he is notifying the people at their hospital.
Please keep Haiti in your prayers. They are an incredibly impoverished nation and this must surely be a catastrophic event for them. Please keep the Ward family in your prayers as well for safety. Brad reported that the northern coast of Honduras had an earthquake earlier. The Ward family will issue an email soon to keep you updated on their family!

PMI Prayer Request
November 22, 2009 - USA
Issued 6:30pm (PDT) from PMI Home Office - (USA)
We are looking at additional staff volunteers joining us at PMI and asking the Lord to help open the doors and provide all that is needed for these volunteers. We also continue to ask for provision for our current staff families. The economic crunch has stretched our families! We are blessed to be able to move forward with our work in spite of these difficult times!
